BLACKWING7 from TRIBE7 are unique among modern lenses. Available from three distinct tuning sets: S-Tuned, T-Tuned, and X-tuned, these large format primes are excellent for hyper-expressive work. Differing tunings showcase varying sharpness, contrast, roll-off, spherical aberration, field curvature, edge halation, and flares.
TRIBE7 has created several types of spectacularly imperfect optics with tunable parameters. The BLACKWING7 have found massive success in music video and commercial work for their expressive optics. However, they are still fully capable of shooting Full Frame plus formats.
PL mount for top-of-the-line camera bodies. Very light primes topping out at 3.6lbs. A rare, 14-bladed iris for remarkably smooth bokeh. Incredibly fast apertures of T1.9 across the set for impressive low light performance. These lenses are hand-built by Blackwing7 to a variety of customizations, ranging from the subdued S-tuning to the hyper-expressive X-tuning.
