Now, they have released a whopping 10 GB of footage shot from the first working D16. The footage is available to download on the Digital Bolex site.
You may have noticed that there is a large amount of motion blur in the footage. This is because, for whatever reason, Digital Bolex shot the test with the shutter at 220 instead of 180. While we wish the Digital Bolex guys would let a professional DP shoot their tests, to give us a better idea of the camera’s capabilities, we’re certain they’ll get it right soon enough.
