The DJI Ronin became a crowd favorite at this year’s NAB convention. The Ronin is similar to the MoVI with a 3-axis brushless gimbal stabilizer, but there are a few differences. The Ronin can handle up to 15 lbs and boasts features like a “5-minute auto-calibration.” Yesterday, we got word on the Ronin’s official price and shipping date: we don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
DJI originally claimed the Ronin would cost around $5,000 and would ship sometime in the 2nd Quarter. At the time of writing, we’re happy to announce DJI has come through, as the official price of the Ronin is $4,499. Shipments will begin in the next 2 weeks, but depending on when you pre-ordered, you might have to wait a little longer.
