New DJI Ronin M Stabilizer On The Way

DJI is officially releasing a baby brother to its popular Ronin stabilizer platform called the M. The new Ronin M will be half the weight of the original Ronin with a carrying capacity of 8lbs.

Anyone who has operated a stabilizer on set for a day (or even an hour or two) knows how exciting it is to effectively halve the weight of their rig, so there is no doubt the market is hungry for this lightweight member of the Ronin family.

Since the Ronin M carries 8lbs, the announcement is especially great news for shooters who want to fly small cameras like the Canon 5D, Sony A7s, Panasonic GH4, and Blackmagic cameras.
