Many moons ago, when just two guys ran Stray Angel Films in a single office, we made the decision to kickstart the company YouTube channel. Though resources were limited back then, Josh & Suren knew even then that YouTube was an excellent opportunity to connect with the filmmaking community. They began shooting demos of Stray Angel gear and film school-esque videos on a variety of topics.
The platform has given us a fantastic opportunity to connect with thousands of filmmakers that we may have never gotten the chance to otherwise. We’ve interviewed companies like Panasonic and DJI about new products, and we’ve tested out new cameras to see how they compare and contrast. Sometimes, we’ve even been able to lend clients gear to do awesome projects like this shoot in the desert at night using only moonlight for exposure!
