RED has finally launched a program that gives both students and schools a break on RED products. Discounts vary from product to product, generally 10-15% off. The RED Education Program will be more beneficial to schools since the average student wouldn’t have tens of thousands of dollars on a camera. However, if you are lucky enough to afford it, now is definitely a good time to buy!

RED has also teamed up with ODEMAX, a 4k content delivery company. ODEMAX is currently seeking 100 independent films for distribution. Films must be finished to receive consideration, but do not have to be in 4k to be accepted. ODEMAX says they will up-res films if necessary.
