It’s sharp, extremely well-corrected for all aberrations, and focus breathing is minimal.
Having a zoom that covers this range allows you to fine tune your composition with much more control than shooting on a prime. This lens is based on the legendary Canon 150-600mm f5.6. Century Precision Optics rehoused the lens for proper cinema use. There are a few cine versions of this lens, and the Century housing is by far the best. It has geared focus, iris and zoom rings, motor bracket, and built in lens support. It’s ready for the most demanding productions.
