A few times a year, Stray Angel Films offers a paid-internship through the LAUSD program. It’s not your standard coffee-buying gopher position but a creative one, with hands-on, real-world experience. The internship involves helping us create new videos for our very own YouTube channel. Interns are in control of the entire creative process, with everything from scriptwriting, storyboarding, production, and editing under their control.
Our latest intern, Samantha Crende, is a 17-year-old high school student from Granada Hills. The Los Angeles News recently ran a story on her internship with us. Samantha is quoted saying, “This would have been a very boring and wasted summer,” Crende said. “I’m really fortunate I was able to get this and be productive.”
We’re so happy to have Samantha as a part of our team this summer! Read more about her and her experience with us in the full Los Angeles Daily News article.
